Kevin James is licensed in the State of New Jersey with hospital appointments in Morristown Medical Center (Attending Surgeon), Morristown Memorial Hospital (Section Chief, Vascular Surgery 2010-2012), St. Clare’s Hospital (Attending Surgeon), Saint Barnabas Hospital (Attending Physician), Saint Joseph’s Hospital (Attending Physician), and Newton Medical Center (Attending Physician).
Among his many credentials include a Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor’s Degree from LaSalle University, and Certifications by the American Board of Surgery (Vascular Surgery & General Surgery) and National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. James completed his residency in General Surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital (New Jersey) and a fellowship at Peripheral Vascular Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital (Ohio). He also worked at Allied Surgical in Morristown, New Jersey, for three years.
Dr. James was born in Puerto Rico and served as the Program Director for the Tenth Annual Fillipone Surgical Symposium and Morristown Medical Center Vascular Symposium. His honors include Allister Karmody Award, American Venous Forum, two Morristown Medical Center Teaching Awards, and many publications and presentations. He is a member of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery (Candidate), American College of Surgeons (Associate Fellow), American Medical Association, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgery, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, Morris County Medical Society, and Medical Society of New Jersey. He is also an Invited Member of the Transatlantic Renal Council – Network 3.
