Tejas Shah is Certified by the American Board of Surgery (General Surgery & Vascular Surgery) and National Board of Medical Examiners. He earned a Doctor of Medicine Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, and Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Brooklyn College.
Dr. Shah was appointed Chief Resident in General Surgery and Fellow in Vascular Surgery at New York University – NYU Langone Medical Center and a Research Fellow in Vascular Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons (Resident), and Society for Vascular Surgery (Candidate).
A highly skilled researcher and communicator, Dr. Shah has been widely published and presented extensively at annual meetings, international symposiums, and industry events. Over the course of his career, he received significant grant support and more than 10 awards and honors, including Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery Fellows Scholarship.
